Notice that everything wasn't vegan, but on the other hand, it definitely wasn't a Standard American Diet meal either. I enjoyed a very plant-strong diet and kept the animal products to a minimum, with just small amounts of cheese and butter. The point is, it's possible to go out and enjoy yourself with others and still eat a plant-strong diet and have a very tasty and satisfying meal. And it was satisfying. I could not finish my meal, and that's extremely unusual for me, a longstanding member of the Clean Plate Club.
I'll never fear the restaurant scene again!
